KLIA Car Parking and Fees

 There are 2 main car parks with 11,442 parking lots.

Short-Term Car Park Facility

Short term car parking contains seven storeys blocks (Block A, B, C and D) with bus bays and motor cycle parking spots. Charges maximum RM 46.00.

Preferred Parking (Block C Level 2)

Preferred Parking is located at Level 2, Block B & C of the Short-Term Car Park giving nearer access to the Main Terminal building.

There are more than 300 bays at the Preferred Parking. Preferred Parking Charges is RM5.00 for first hour or part thereof, every subsequent hour or part thereof – RM5.00

Long-Term Car Park Facility

KLIA has designated Long-Term Car Park (LTCP) located near Malaysia Airports Training Centre. Free shuttle service from LTCP to the terminals is available every 10 minutes. Charge for LTCP is RM2.50 per hour with daily maximum RM32.00.

Area for Waiting to Pick up Passengers

There are 30 minutes free parking at the side of the Long Term Car Park (LTCP) for the driver who waiting for the arrival of passengers before going to the klia2 and KLIA terminals to pick them up. If the waiting time exceeds more than 30 minutes at LTCP, parking charge of RM2.50 per hour will be imposed.

Valet Parking

For added convenience, you can choose to use the KLIA Valet Parking facility. It is fully guarded by 24-hour security surveillance cameras.

Touch & Go

Touch & Go (TNG) facilities are available at all entry and exit. Additional charge 10% will be imposed on top of the parking tier rate.

Parked Car Locator

The car park is too big, so there is ‘Parked Car Locator’ near the autopay machines, just key in your vehicle registration number, the system will help you to locate your vehicle location with the parking bay information.

Loss of Chip Coin

A RM50.00 penalty charge will be imposed on top of the required parking charges for any loss or damage of the chip coin.

Clamping Penalty

The management reserve the right to clamp any vehicle parked outside of the allocated parking lots. A penalty of RM100.00 will be required to be paid to the management in order for the clamp to be released.

4WD Designated Parking

There are dedicated parking areas offered to 4 Wheel Drive vehicle owners at Level 2, Block B and C. Drivers will be required to register their name and vehicle’s number plate upon entry and they will be provided a card as evidence of entry. The card has to be returned to the security personnel before they are allowed to leave the parking area.

Motorcycles parking charges – RM1.00 per entry

Available at Level 1 and Level 3 of the Main Terminal Building (MTB), the metered taxis offer an alternative for travellers to get around. Passengers have the options to purchase a coupon and using the airport limo or a city metered taxi, for which fare can be paid based on the running meter.

2. e-Hailing Services

The Airport Management has allocated a complimentary waiting area for e-Hailing drivers at its Landside Operations office which is just 5 minutes away from the terminal before picking up their passengers. By waiting at this designated parking area prior to the arrival of their passengers, the drivers will be able to abide to the 5-minute period allocated to pick-up them up at the designated points.

5. KLIA Ekspres connecting KLIA & KLIA2 to City Center

It is a non-stop high-speed train service that connects Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and its low cost terminal,KLIA2 to city center. KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit will continue to run with every 20 minutes during weekday peak hours, every 30 minutes between 06:00 hrs and 07:00 hrs on weekdays, and every 60 minutes during off-peak hours. The total journey time between KL Sentral and KLIA2 is 40 minutes. porters are available at your service at all the areas for loading or unloading of your luggage.
